UPSC conducts Civil Services or
IAS Examination every year to shortlist eligible candidates for the elite posts
in Indian Administrative Services. Candidates need to attain the minimum IAS Cutoff marks in order to crack the
examination. The cutoff marks of IAS
depend on the difficulty level of examination, total number of appeared
candidates, number of vacancies and previous year’s IAS cutoff trends. UPSC will announce the IAS Cutoff 2017 marks
after declaration of final result, in the month of March 2018. Below are the expected
IAS 2017 cutoff marks
IAS Prelims Cutoff (Expected)
- For General- 115- 125
- For OBC (Other Backward classes)- 110- 120
- For SC (Scheduled Castes)- 98- 108
- For ST (Scheduled Tribe)- 95- 105
